Gate Servicing & Maintenance Contracts
To ensure your automatic gates continue to perform as intended despite being exposed to Britain’s typical weather conditions, we recommend they are serviced regularly.
The specifics of the regularity of a service are unique to each gate. The more it is used the more it will need to be serviced, very much like a car. Our standard gate servicing schemes are outlined on this page.
We will advise you at the time of installation our recommendation for servicing of your system and offer competitive pricing for on going service and maintenance.
Residential Service Contract
Recommended for residential gates, or gates that are unlikely to be opened and closed more than twice per day. Staffordshire Automation will visit your premises to fully service your gates ONCE during the 1 year scheme period.
This scheme includes
- 1 x Full service and maintenance checks where any faulty components can be repaired or replaced.
- The cost of all labour and consumables used for the service (excludes cost of parts).
Commercial Service Contract
Recommended for commercial gates, or gates that are likely to be used regularly throughout the day. Staffordshire Automation will visit your premises to fully service your gates TWICE during the 1 year scheme period.
This scheme includes
- 2 x Full service and maintenance checks where any faulty components can be repaired or replaced.
- The cost of all labour and consumables used for the service (excludes cost of parts).

Fencing and Gate Health & Safety
Safety is of paramount importance to us, and is a requirement by law. Our electricians are Part-P qualified, all our engineers are fully trained to ensure your electric gates meet stringent safety standards and machinery directives.
We always recommend the installation of mechanical sensitive edges and 'magic eye' style safety sensors to ensure your system is as safe as possible. We may also recommend using 24 volt supplies instead of mains and utilising proximity sensors and cut-offs.
