Palisade Fencing
A & R Fencing Contractors Ltd. PALISADE fencing - a strong and durable construction providing excellent protection against climbing and cut-through.
Palisade fencing with either a 'D' or a 'W' profile to varying specifications including Gas, Water & Electric Companies and Public Sector specifications.
Heights
1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2m, 2.1m, 2.4m and 3m heights are available.
Paling tops
Can be single pointed, triple pointed, square tops or round & notched tops.
Paling thickness
'W' profile 2.0mm - commercial specification.
'W' profile 2.5mm - general purpose to BS 1722 Pt 12.
'D' profile 3.0mm - general purpose to BS 1722 Pt 12.
Horizontals
Available in 4 standard sizes according to height and site requirements.
Posts
Available with welded fishplates or slotted, complete with loose fishplates that can be concreted-in, base plated for bolting down or cranked. Posts can be vertically extended to take barbed or razor wire.
Panels
Panels can be easily raked to allow for most site conditions.
Fixings
All fixings are anti-vandal.
Gates
Standard gates are available or tailored-made to suit your requirements. All gates are supplied with adjustable hinges, pad-lockable drop-bolts, multi-holed to suit site conditions and robust pad-lockable slide late.
Securus Fencing
Description
The Securus profiled system using the profiled 358 mesh has become extremely popular for high security applications. It is suitable for applications such as schools, industrial and commercial units, police stations and secure units. Although a dense mesh it has very little impact on the landscape.
Finish
Galvanised and polyester powder-coated after stringent cleaning and treatment to give a well-adhered coating of 60 microns. Or available as galvanised only which is a high aluminium content galvanising giving four times the life of BS 443. This finish is free of the sharps and irregularities found in the hot dip galvanising process. RAL range of colours.
Ultimate Security Mesh Fencing
Description
The Ultimate profiled panel system offers close wire centres which, combined with the RHS post and channel clamp strip, give it great strength and make it difficult to climb. This makes for an exceptionally secure fencing system, which is highly approved of by planning authorities.
In addition, the Ultimate offers good visibility and an aesthetically pleasing appearance, while still remaining an economical fencing system.

Multiplus Security Mesh Fencing
Description
The Multiplus is a welded mesh panel with longitudinal profiles to form a rigid fence. The mesh configuration is 6mm dia. Horizontal wires at 200 mm centres with 4 mm vertical wires at 45 mm centres followed by a group of 6 wires at 15 mm centres. This gives rise to an attractive stripped effect that is also difficult to scale.

Fencing and Gate Health & Safety
Safety is of paramount importance to us, and is a requirement by law. Our electricians are Part-P qualified, all our engineers are fully trained to ensure your electric gates meet stringent safety standards and machinery directives.
We always recommend the installation of mechanical sensitive edges and 'magic eye' style safety sensors to ensure your system is as safe as possible. We may also recommend using 24 volt supplies instead of mains and utilising proximity sensors and cut-offs.
