Fencing and Gate Health & Safety
Safety is of paramount importance to us, and is a requirement by law. Our electricians are Part-P qualified, all our engineers are fully trained to ensure your electric gates meet stringent safety standards and machinery directives.
We always recommend the installation of mechanical sensitive edges and 'magic eye' style safety sensors to ensure your system is as safe as possible. We may also recommend using 24 volt supplies instead of mains and utilising proximity sensors and cut-offs.
Building & Civil Engineering
Once your gate & railings have been designed and manufactured, they will need to be installed, our professional team of experienced civil engineers, bricklayers, electricians and welders will ensure that the job is done smoothly and efficiently, with minimum disruption to the day to day running of your home, school or business.
The installation may need to been done in several stages over several days, sliding gates in particular require much more civil engineering than swing gates. If you decide to install brick walls and pillars, this will also significantly increase the labour required.
Our team will always leave your property in a clean & tidy state before we leave.
Bespoke Fabrication & Welding
Every driveway or entrance is unique. Different customers require different styles, sizes and features, and because of this A & Fencing will always fabricate each individual gate to suit your needs, on-site at in our metalwork plant in Stoke-on-Trent or Derby.
The design may evolve from one of our standard designs, or it may be a complete 'one-off', but inevitably there will be different finnials, pillars, railings, intercoms etc. that make the gate unique.
Perhaps you'd like your house name or number, or the name of the school incorporated into the design? Perhaps you'd like gold painted finnials?
From Conception to Completion

Camera options range from external weather-proof cameras, Infa-red night vision cameras, dome cameras and covert cameras.
A digital video recorder (DVR) can be used to record camera footage to an internal hard drive. This can be reviewed at a later date and burned onto CD as evidence that can be submitted to the police.
Access to the CCTV cameras and recorder playback can be gained remotely via the internet from your PC.
